Mar. Gregorios Memorial Shalem English School (MGM) was established in the year 2000 under the auspices of St. Thomas Orthodox Shalem Church Kelakam. It was started by the Parish for fulfilling the long demands of the farming community in the nearby Panjayaths of Kelakam, Kottiyoor and Kanichar. Later the school was handed over to St. Thomas Orthodox Shalem Educational Trust. The foundation stone of the New School building was laid on 09-09-2006 by H.G.KURIAKOSE Mar.
